5 de Mayo is a regional holiday in Mexico, primarily celebrated in the state of Puebla, the state where I came from which is really nice in my opinion. I think is celebrate more here in the US than in Mexico. The holiday commemorates the Mexican army's victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of Mexican General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguín. So tonight I am going to have a party at my house....sweeet!!

The best website.

I have a lot of websites like facebook to stay in touch with friends and family. For example: hi5, my space, sonic, and others. However im trying to get all my friends together so that I wont need to have five or six web sites and will be easy for me to just check one website. And not five. The one that I like the most is Facebook becuase its the one that is most advanced and it has a lot of fun stuff to do or to share with your friends or contacts. But most of my friends from Mexico use hi5 or sonic which are not that bad but Facebook is better than those websites. I bet that everyone is like me that have more than one site so connect with our friends and family. But it gets really annoying sometimes.

New Moon

New Moon is the second book of the serie Twilight.
I took the book from the library where I lived few weeks ago and I am almost done with it. I was suppose to be ready the other book for class but this one is very interesting because the Edward the vampire left and he leaves the Bella behind which wasnt I really good idea since the girl is in love with Edward. I should not tell the story in case you want to read it but with all this homework I dont think you can.
Ok so the story begins when Bella the main character is dreaming about her grandmother but some how it wasnt her grandmother, then bella's dream becomes a nightmare. Bella was now seeing a miror and the woman that she tought its was her gradmother wasnt, it was herself looking in the miror, then she saw the guy, Edward behind her and he wasnt in the miror becuase the vampires cant be reflected in the miror. So she was really upset thinking that she was going to be old and he wasnt. When she woke up she realize that it was her birthday and that make her more upset.

Twilight

Twilight is a movie that I saw few months ago which I really like it. Is about a human girl that falls in love with a male vampire. The story start when the girl named "Bella" moves to Washinton State In the northwest of the country, she moves to her father's house. She used to lived in Arizona where it was really sunny and the weather was warm. Now she lives with his father in a place called Forks where rains a lot and there is rarely sun light. She was really upset because of the weather but at the end of the story she did not want to move from that place because of this guy named Edward. Its a really good movie and the book is even better.

It has been a while since I wrote my last post. I need to write more but I just cannot make my mind...hahaha
ok I'll write about school.
College is really hard for me becuase its my first semester here and the teachers give a lot of homework. Even though I have only two clases, stills hard for me. I also dont like to do homework that much but I know I have to, for example this blog. This blog is really interesting, how we can express ourselves and share thoughts. Its really nice but it gets boring sometimes.
I like the blogs that my classmates have and they write really good, I really enjoy reading their work but I dont like to write mine.
